Former Georgia commit Marquis Groves-Killebrew enters transfer portal

Texas A&M Aggies defensive back Marquis Groves-Killebrew has entered the NCAA transfer portal. The 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback is a former four-star recruit.

Groves-Killebrew committed to the Georgia Bulldogs on May 27, 2020. The talented cornerback flipped his commitment to Texas A&M during the early signing period last year and signed with the Aggies.

The Snellville, Georgia, native will be a coveted player in the transfer portal. Groves-Killebrew finished his high school career at North Cobb High School.

Groves-Killebrew joins numerous Aggies in the transfer portal. Texas A&M finished the class of 2022 recruiting cycle with one of the best recruiting classes of all time, but the Aggies and Jimbo Fisher had a disappointing 5-7 season. Now, Texas A&M is seeing a considerable percentage of its roster enter the transfer portal.

Groves-Killebrew appeared in three games for Texas A&M in 2022. He recorded two total tackles.

Groves-Killebrew was ranked as the No. 114 recruit in class of 2022. He finished as the No. 14 cornerback and the No. 11 player in Georgia.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football did not target many players in the transfer portal during last offseason. However, Georgia fans should anticipate the Bulldogs adding a few transfers this offseason.
