Erin Andrews, sports commentator and former Dancing With the Stars co-host, is claiming her podcast magic created this pop-culture moment.

On Monday’s Late Night With Seth Meyers, Andrews revealed just how she and her Calm Down podcast co-host Charissa Thompson made this rom-com affair happen. Kelce, who attended Swift’s July 8 Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, was reportedly bummed he did not get to meet his crush. That’s when the sportscaster and Thompson stepped in. Andrews said in August on her show, “Please try our friend,Travis. He is fantastic!”

Andrews told Meyers why they even had that conversation to begin with, noting, “Travis was very open about not getting to meet her, and so we were just being really candid because we love him. We’re good friends of his. And we just were like, ‘Taylor, date this guy.‘” It was more of a casual comment since her football friend is not only “good-looking,” but also “just such a great, great guy.” She “threw it out there” hoping at some point the word would get back to the pop star.

The 45-year-old reporter now hopes “to officiate the wedding” because she thinks the dynamic duo is endgame material. “We hope to be there when he proposes, all the things,” she joked. For now, Swift has shown her Andrews support by wearing a jacket from her sports clothing line and Kelce had something to say about Andrews and Thompson’s matchmaking skills. “You two are something else!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I owe you big time,” he wrote on Instagram. It sounds like everyone is blissfully happy about this romantic outcome.
