Former Disney Star Bella Thorne Makes Directorial Debut on Pornhub Short ‘Her & Him’ (Video)
Surprise! Former Disney Channel star Bella Thorne has emerged to announce her directorial debut, and it’s for an unexpected platform: online adult content forum Pornhub. No, really.
Thorne revealed the project, a short film called “Her & Him,” on Pornhub’s YouTube series “Behind the Scenes.” According to Pornhub vice president Corey Price, the film is “a modernistic, sexually explicit Romeo and Juliet-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers who have unbridled sexual longing for each other.”
For her part, Thorne says in the video that “what inspired me to make the movie was basically thinking about this relationship between a male and a female, and this fight over dominance and how much that relates to us in our general world besides in a sexual scenario.”

“It was quite an interesting experience to have the first thing that I really fully directed have so much sex in it,” she also says.

“Her & Him” was produced as part of Pornhub’s “Visionaries Director’s Series” featuring the work of guest filmmakers. It will debut in September during the Oldenburg Film Festival, (Sept. 11 to 15 in Oldenburg, Germany). Shortly after, Pornhub subscribers can watch it online.
Thorne’s upcoming projects include the horror film “Leave Not One Alive.”
