If ever there was a time to feel nostalgic for things past, it’s now. And come Thursday, we’ll all have a special little throwback to fill our hearts with pre-quarantine joy — that’s when some of your favorite former child actors are teaming up for a Stars in the House YouTube special. So, carve some time out of your isolation schedule, because you’re going to want to tune into this conversation between One Day at a Time’s Mackenzie Phillips (aka Julie Cooper) and Glenn Scarpelli (Alex Handris), The Facts of Life’s Mindy Cohn (Natalie Green) and The Love Boat’s Jill Whelan (Vicki Stubing).

ICYMI, Stars in the House is an onstream livestream series benefitting The Actors Fund’s coronavirus relief efforts. Hosted by James Wesley and Seth Rudetsky, it’s been delivering all sorts of delightful reunions in recent weeks, including the stars of Desperate Housewives, Glee and Melrose Place. But this week, the series is throwing it all the way back to the ‘70s and ‘80s. During the special, which takes place on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, Wesley and Rudetsky will visit with the former child stars about warm-and-fuzzy feel-good topics like childhood memories and behind-the-scenes moments from their cherished shows.

Fans will even get a chance to interact with Phillips, Scarpelli, Cohn and Whelan by commenting and submitting questions. So, to get you ready for your Q&A moment with these sentimental favorites, we decided to see what they’ve been up to lately.

Glenn Scarpelli

Since playing Alex on One Day at a Time, Scarpelli’s roles have been few and far between. Most notably, he made it back to the screen for a cameo in the third season of Netflix’s One Day at a Time revival. Fun fact? He also owns a TV station in Sedona, Arizona.

Mackenzie Phillips

One Day at a Time’s Julie Cooper has been keeping busy! She’s enjoyed a wealth of roles over the years. Like Scarpelli, she appeared in her throwback show’s revival. She also memorably played prisoner Barbara Denning in Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black Season 6. On an inspirational personal note, she works at the Breathe Life Healing Center in West Hollywood as a drug rehab counselor.

Mindy Cohn

Um, hello! Who didn’t love Cohn as adorable Natalie on The Facts of Life? She’s proven just as lovable after the fact(s), popping up on shoes like Hot in Cleveland and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Currently, she has two movies in post-production: Consequences, and A Nice Girl Like You. In her personal life, Cohn is a proud LGBTQ rights advocate.

Jill Whelan

While you probably remember Whelan the best from The Love Boat, she has a few other iconic titles under her belt — think Airplane! Today, Whelan still has a screen presence, albeit not as prominent. Her latest notable roles were a guest cameo on Criminal Minds in 2016 and a part on the 2017 TV movie Take It from the Top. She’s also a Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador.
