A young man sober for six years shares a message for parents who have a child in rehab. What does he say was the most important thing his parents did?

Rick and Joanne came to Dr. Phil twice begging for help with their then 19-year-old son Michael. They claimed he was a liar with no remorse or guilt, who stole from them to fuel his addiction to opiates. And, they admitted to enabling his behavior.

Michael went to LaHacienda and completed a treatment program, but relapsed shortly after he got out, leading to the Dr. Phil show staging an intervention at his home.
