New Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package

Ford has unveiled the Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package available on both the XLT and Lariat trims of the truck. It includes a 1-inch lift for greater ground clearance, Trail Control, offroad-focused front and rear suspension, all-wheel drive with four-wheel-drive lock and a 2 liter EcoBoost engine Exterior design changes unique to the Tremor include blacked-out Ford logos, headlamps and taillamps, orange tow hooks, an updated fender vent and a new grille The Tremor builds on the Maverick’s existing FX4 Off-Road Package with an all-wheel-drive system new to the truck that includes a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock feature to allow greater off-road capability. It can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either wheel. Drivers can select between five drive modes, making it easy to quickly customize the on-road and off-road capability to pavement, mud, sand or snow, as well as for towing. The Maverick Tremor also comes with Trail Control, which Ford says “operates like cruise control for off-road driving.” You simply select a speed, then the truck manages throttle and braking for you, so you can focus on steering. Two unique-to-the-Tremor front and rear springs and shocks aid in improved off-road capability. That capability is further increased by a heavy-duty transmission cooler and upgraded half-shafts. The Maverick Tremor offers a maximum tow rating of 2,000 pounds and payload rating of 1,200 pounds. In addition to the Tremor Off-Road Package, Ford is also releasing the Tremor Appearance Package, which includes a Carbonized Gray-painted roof and mirror caps, as well as black side graphics on both the hood and body. 17-inch aluminum wheels feature an Orange and dark gray anodized finish, while all-terrain tires come standard. Additionally, a low front fascia allows for a more aggressive approach angle, while steel skid plates add to the truck’s capability. The design changes also include Black Onyx seats with stitched Tremor logos and orange accents, as well as updated colors on the center console, register vents and door pulls. The 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road Package has an MSRP of $2,995 while the Tremor Appearance Package costs $1,495. Production of the Maverick Tremor will begin this fall. #fordmaverick #maverick #tremor
