Football Injury Sends ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Contestant to the Hospital

The guys on Celebrity Apprentice were tasked with making two viral videos for King’s Hawaiian BBQ sauce. Since one of the best running backs of all time is on the show, Ricky Williams, they decided to have a football theme for one of the videos.

The guys used a bottle of King’s Hawaiian BBQ sauce as the football, and Ricky ran through people toward the end zone. At the last second, Carson Kressley was supposed to run in and tackle Ricky, which Carson was a little worried about, saying, “So, the idea was, I come in out of nowhere, I take down a Heisman Trophy winner. I have never tackled anyone — ever.”

So they lined up for the shot, and Carson ran in and tackled the Heisman Trophy winner. But when Carson got up, he wasn’t feeling too great about it. Shaking his arm, Carson said, “I think I might have broken my elbow. Just sayin’.” The injury was too much for him to handle, so Carson went to the hospital to get checked out.

Later in the episode, Carson triumphantly returned with his arm in a sling, telling the guys that he might have a crack in the bone, but he was going to be alright, adding, “Takes more than Ricky Williams to keep me down.”

The Celebrity Apprentice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
