Footage From Zac Efron’s Actual High School Musical

On Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zac Efron stopped by to talk about his upcoming film. However, that was dwarfed by a video that his high school drama teacher sent to Jimmy. They played a video of young Zac dressed as Snoopy, singing in the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. His choreography even included an impressive moonwalk.

It seemed like a huge opportunity to see Zac embarrassed. However, he appeared happy to have seen it. Jimmy complimented him on his moonwalking skills. He replied, “Back then, that crushed.” It still does. Zac then hopped to his feet and gave the audience a show of moonwalking on Jimmy’s stage. It delighted the audience but not as much as Zac volunteering to hug a random audience member. The Australian woman chosen embraced Zac in a hug, which turned into a long slow dance.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknight at 11:35 pm on ABC.
