A Food Network documentary, Restaurant Hustle 2020: All on the Line has officially been approved for a sequel. The first installment followed four chefs and restauranteurs as they navigated the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Co-directed by Guy Fieri and Frank Matson, founder and executive producer at Citizen Pictures, the original documentary saw great success as it premiered at the DOC NYC film festival. Restaurant Hustle 2020: All on the Line followed Marcus Samuelsson, Christian Petroni, Antonia Lofaso, and Maneet Chauhan through their journeys working in the restaurant industry from the start of the pandemic through the end of 2020.

The sequel documentary will follow the same four people from the start of January 2021 and beyond. Matson said that doing so will make it possible for viewers to better understand how the restaurant industry must continually adjust to the developing challenges of the pandemic

"With Restaurant Hustle 2020, viewers witnessed the journey of these four courageous chefs as they struggled to keep their businesses afloat from the beginning of the pandemic," he said in a press release. "In 2021, they're facing a whole new set of struggles and Guy and I are grateful to Food Network for giving us the opportunity to continue telling their stories."
