These Fond du Lac restaurants and cafes offer Thanksgiving dinner, turkey, stuffing, pie and more

FOND DU LAC — If you're short on time or cooking confidence for Thanksgiving this year, Fond du Lac businesses have your back.

While there's still time to plan a holiday feast this month, reservations are filling up and order deadlines are fast approaching to try out what area restaurants and cafes have to offer.

From full meals to just dessert — whether it's cheesecake, ice cream or a classic pie — here's what's available.

Hotel Retlaw

The Hotel Retlaw, 1 N. Main St., will host a Thanksgiving Day buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23.

Buffet items include roast turkey, seared salmon, prime rib, green bean casserole, garlic herb cheese mashed potatoes and various salads, including a build-your-own wedge salad. Dessert options include amaretto bread pudding with bourbon crème anglaise and pumpkin or maple pecan pie.

A children's menu includes chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and french fries.

The cost is $42 for adults and $12 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and younger eat free. Reservations are required by calling 920-204-0400 or through the opentable.com link available on the Hotel Retlaw Facebook page.

Beans & Bites Cafe

As part of its Wednesday "Grab & Go" meals, Beans & Bites, 340 Prospect Ave. in North Fond du Lac, will offer Thanksgiving meals for pick-up Nov. 22.

Each order feeds two to three people and comes with pulled turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, buttered corn and a roll for $28. Brown sugar baked sweet potatoes are an optional add-on for $7.

Grab & Go orders can be placed by 10 a.m. each Wednesday and picked up between 4 and 6 p.m. Orders are accepted via phone at 920-238-9293 or Facebook message on the Beans & Bites Facebook page.

Additionally, the cafe has $15 pumpkin pies and $16 apple pies available to order for Thanksgiving, with an order deadline of Nov. 18. Each pie is served in a 9-inch glass dish, and a $5 deposit will be returned to those who bring the dish back.

Faros Restaurant and Cocktails

Faros, 131 N. Pioneer Road, will be open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23 with a $16 breakfast buffet and a $18 turkey dinner, which will include soup or salad, mashed potatoes and dessert.

The regular menu will also be available.

Mix It Up Bakery

Mix It Up Bakery, 64 N. Main St., is accepting orders for Thanksgiving pies, coffee cakes and rolls until 1 p.m. Nov. 18.

The pies come in choice of pumpkin for $15; apple, cherry or strawberry rhubarb for $13; and pecan, chocolate cream, coconut cream or lemon meringue for $18. The $7 coffee cakes come in Devonshire, butternut pecan, apple, cherry, cherry cream cheese or plain cream cheese.

Additionally, $9 Kringles are available in pumpkin cream cheese, pecan cream cheese or raspberry. Dinner rolls are available in a 12-pack for $3.

The bakery's regular hours are 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 7 a.m. to noon Sundays. It will be closed Thanksgiving weekend but open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22.

Kelley Country Creamery

Kelley Country Creamery, W5215 Fond du Lac County B, has a variety of Thanksgiving ice cream cakes and pies to finish off a holiday feast.

Thanksgiving-themed ice cream cakes are customizable in size and flavors, which are available on the shop's website, kelleycountrycreamery.com. A specialty pumpkin-shaped ice cream bundt cake will feed 10 to 12 people for $34.99 plus tax, and can be made in any flavor.

9-inch ice cream pies can also be made in any flavor in either a graham cracker or chocolate crust, and are decorated to match the flavor. The pies feed six to eight people at $22.99 plus tax.

The 9-inch Thanksgiving feast pie is decorated to look like a full Thanksgiving meal, with a waffle cone turkey drumstick filled with chocolate ice cream and crushed graham crackers, vanilla ice cream mashed potatoes with caramel gravy, green Sixlets for peas, stuffing made with peanut butter cups, mini marshmallows and Rice Krispies and a cranberry walnut ice cream puck for the cranberry sauce. The filling of the pie is vanilla ice cream in a graham cracker crust, and it feeds six to eight people at $32.99 plus tax.

No substitutions will be available, and the desserts can be ordered by calling 920-923-1715 by Nov. 16 or while supplies last. Pick-up days are Nov. 18, 19, 22, 24 or 25.

CC's Chocolates

CC's Chocolates Cafe has a Thanksgiving pre-order menu of $50 cheesecakes, $28 pies and $30 quiches available to order until Nov. 22.

The cheesecakes come in 38 flavor options, including apple pie, carrot cake, maple pecan, triple chocolate, baklava, napoleon, banana cream, German chocolate and lemon.

The pies are available in apple, lemon meringue, pecan and pumpkin, and the quiches are available in bacon, four cheese and spinach.

Orders are accepted by calling 920-933-3121, and the cafe is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Annie's Fountain City Catering

In its first holiday season as a catering-only business, Annie's Fountain City Catering is accepting pre-orders for Thanksgiving dessert, including cheesecakes and pies.

Cheesecakes come in cinnamon roll, apple crisp, brown buttered pecan or plain with choice of toppings, and pies come in apple, Dutch apple, pumpkin and cherry.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy pie sale

Winnebago Lutheran Academy, 475 E. Merrill Ave., is offering a pie sale with $16 pumpkin, apple, lemon, blueberry, cherry, lemon meringue and pecan pies.

Orders can be placed by calling or texting 920-904-1147 by Nov. 17. Pick-up will be 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 22 at door No. 8.

Pies can be ordered unbaked.
