Floyd Mayweather Jr. Voices Support For Israel: “Terrorism Is Never The Answer”

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has pledged his support for Israel amid the attack waged against the country by the Hamas.
On Tuesday (Oct. 10), the former boxing champion took to social media to express his solidarity with the nation while warning not to attribute the actions of the militant group behind the terrorism on Palestinians as a whole.
“I stand with Israel against the Hamas terrorists. Hamas do not represent the people of Palestine but are a terrorist group that are attacking innocent lives!” the 46-year-old wrote in the post tagged with Jerusalem, Israel as the location.
Although the post included a photo of Mayweather overlooking Jersualem, the pugilist is not currently in support of any region. “I stand for all humans and wish for the safe return of all Americans and Israelis and any human that were kidnapped as hostages during these horrific war crimes.”
Mayweather reiterated his sentiments, urging the public not to turn the ongoing war into a political battle, but to focus on humanity. “This is not a time for politics. This is a time for safety first and foremost. God Bless America, God Bless Israel, God Bless Human Kind! I stand with Israel and Jews all around the world. I condemn antisemitism at all cost, I stand for Peace, I stand for Human Rights! Terrorism Is Never The Answer!”
In addition to his message voicing his support, Mayweather has reportedly taken matters into his hands by providing relief for those affected by the conflict and has sent a private jet filled with food, bulletproof vests, and other supplies to Israel.
