Florida Man Tames Alligator With Marshmallow Treats
A Florida couple recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with a trip through Louisiana’s bayou region, where they encountered a friendly alligator with an appetite for marshmallows.
Hester Dolgin recorded her husband as he petted the reptile, throwing marshmallows into the water and even shaking one of its rear feet.
She told Storyful that she and her husband, who are based in Florida, were enjoying a vacation in Louisiana and "running away from the hurricane.
“We took an airboat tour through the bayou outside of New Orleans,” she said. “My husband has petted lots of animals. We went on a safari and he petted a white rhino, a giraffe, llamas … nothing he won’t touch.” Credit: Hester Dolgin via Storyful
