Florida Gov. Rick Scott Kicked Off 'Morning Joe' Segment

Things can get a little heated when politics are involved, which was the case on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Florida Gov. Rick Scott was a guest on the program when he was asked about comments made by Donald Trump. The Republican frontrunner said in a recent interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “I think Islam hate us.” Scott, who considers Trump a friend, was asked by host Joe Scarborough if he agreed with Trump’s comments. Scott sidestepped the question not once, but multiple times.

This frustrated not only Scarborough, but also co-host Mika Brzezinski, who could be heard telling the producers to wrap the segment. Despite the growing tension, Scott was given one more opportunity to answer the question, but he again deflected it. Scarborough and Brzezinski promptly ended the interview, and even cut off Scott’s mic before the governor had a chance to bid them farewell.
