Florida Georgia Line, Framed

Every now and again, I like to feature country music in Framed, as this is an insanely democratic blog. And this week I’m very happy to bring in the great Florida Georgia Line.

The duo consists of Brian Kelley (from Florida) and Tyler Hubbard (from Georgia) and are currently on their “Anything Goes” tour – a tour that will last well into October. The 2014 album of the same name hit #1 on both the country and pop charts and established the FGL as country superstars.

This week’s video, “Dirt,” is also from Anything Goes. It’s a little bit country, a little bit melancholy, telling the story of a long-time, down-home married couple at the funeral of the wife. (Come to think of it, it’s a lot melancholy.) If you think life is ultimately pointless and the Universe is a random and uncaring monster, you might enjoy it.  If not, you’ve always got the captions, which live to serve.

Be sure and return to Yahoo Music next week and every week for more in the way of Framed, the only music video/humor blog written by me!
