Flo Milli Breaks The Rules In “BGC” Music Video
- Oops!Something went wrong.Please try again later.
Flo Milli lives out her reality show dreams in her latest music video. Released on Friday (Oct. 20), the Alabama-bred rapper brings “BGC” to life. The song title is an acronym for Bad Girls Club, with the 23-year-old living up to the quote “Well-behaved women rarely make history.”
Joined by Maiya The Don and Lady London, the “Conceited” performer takes over a lavish mansion with a gang of girls ready to party. Inspired by the former reality show of the same name, “BGC” is a fun, upbeat track highlighting Flo Milli’s signature style with a pop flair. The colorful visual is directed by Boni Mata.
“What you gon’ do with a girl like me/ X-rated aint sh*t PG bout me/Chanel emails baby CC/me Ima blow your mind, like im E-V-E,” rhymes Flo Milli in the opening verse.
“BGC” comes from Flo Milli‘s pending album FINE, HO STAY due this November. It comes on the heels of her latest releases, “Chocolate Rain” and “Fruit Loop,” all set to appear on the sophomore work.
“I’m really deep into [the progress of] it,” shared the “Beef” performer with The Forty Five earlier this year, flashing another smile. “It’s me expressing myself more – when I started writing this album, I was feeling out of colour, but this album is very rejuvenating.”
She continues, “Just seeing my peers go crazy and go hard keeps me going hard.”
In the meantime, fans can catch the “In The Party” rhymer, plus Maiya The Don, on the THANKS FOR COMING HERE, HO tour, which kicks off in San Francisco. The journey takes the rap girls to 16 cities across North America, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York, before wrapping in Dallas.
