Flip or Flop Stars to Return Together for Season 7, Despite Separation

The stars of HGTV’s Flip or Flop are fixing up their relationship… on-camera, at least.

Home renovators Tarek and Christina El Moussa are reuniting for a seventh season of their popular HGTV reality series, according to our sister site Deadline — despite the married couple’s very public split last year. The two have signed on to appear together in 20 episodes, five of which have already filmed. Season 7 is expected to debut in December.

Flip or Flop follows Tarek and Christina as they purchase distressed houses, fix them up and sell them at a tidy profit. But it also chronicles their life as husband and wife, which blew up when they announced their separation. The two are currently in the midst of getting divorced, but they’re not letting their marital problems get in the way of their show.

“Tarek and I have been working together for a long time, and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop,” Christina told People magazine on Monday. Tarek added his own statement: “From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support, and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for Flip or Flop.”
