‘Flip or Flop’ Star Christina El Moussa Not Dating NHL Player Nate Thompson, Spokeswoman Says
“Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa is not dating NHL player Nate Thompson, despite reports to the contrary. Or at least, that’s the word from the “Flip or Flop” star’s spokeswoman.
Amid E! Online’s report Friday that the HGTV personality has been dating the Anaheim Ducks player for “about a month,” a representative for El Moussa says that the two are mere puck buddies.
“They are just friends,” the spokeswoman told TheWrap.
According to E! Online, speculation that El Moussa and Thompson are an item arose after Thompson posted an Instagram photo of the two together at the Lady Ducks charity fashion show last week.
El Moussa attended the Ducks’ game against the Oilers on Wednesday, as evidenced by a selfie that the “Flip or Flop” star posed for with a couple of fans.
“Christina from #fliporflop and her man were soooo awesome. Even though we’re #oilersforlife, they took a selfie with us,” the fan wrote in a tweet containing the photo.

Despite El Moussa’s companion being identified as “her man,” the reality star’s spokeswoman told TheWrap that he, too, is just a friend of El Moussa’s.
Christina and her estranged husband/”Flip or Flop” co-star, Tarek El Moussa, announced that they had split up in December after seven years of marriage. Christina reportedly dated Gary Anderson, a contractor who had done work for the couple, after the split, though they have since ended the romance.

El Moussa’s spokeswoman told TheWrap in February that the reality star was unattached.

“Christina is single and being in a relationship is the last thing on her mind. She is taking this time to focus on her children and herself,” the spokeswoman said.
