'Flight of the WASP' author to sign books at Palm Beach Book Store
Author Michael Gross will bring his latest work of nonfiction to the island Tuesday.

Gross will discuss and sign copies of "Flight of the WASP: The Rise, Fall and Future of America's Original Ruling Class" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Palm Beach Book Store, 215 Royal Poinciana Way.
The book examines American history via the lens of WASPs — "White Anglo-Saxon Protestants" — and their contributions to society by tracing the lives of 10 people "and 15 very privileged, often intermarried families," the book store said in a news release.
The event is one of nine upcoming signings scheduled at the book store, which this year marks its 35th anniversary in Palm Beach.
