In the spirit of nostalgia, Flavor Of Love may be returning to a small screen near you. According to Deadline, Bunim/Murray Productions—the company behind the hit reality show—is “in the process” of rebooting the reality show.

Julie Pizzi, president of Bunim/Murray, shared in a statement, “We’re in the process of working with Flavor Flav to reimagine what Flavor of Love can feel like in this in this decade, which is very different. The project is really fun, a comedy in the dating space.”

However, Flav won’t be the leading man looking for love, but he will be involved in the production process.

As far as where the potential reboot will be housed, Pizzi added, “We have such a deep relationship with Paramount so we will absolutely take it to them first, but we will also shop it around.”

Coincidentally, former contestant Tiffany “New York” Pollard teased a Flavor Of Love reunion back in October 2023.

In a conversation with Rolling Stone, she shared, “I heard a few rumors going around that they were trying to get a few of the girls together and things like that. But they’ve been teasing that for years. It’s like, come on, let’s do it. You never know. Maybe 2024 is the year to make it really happen this time. [I] would be there front and center. I’d be the first one to move into the house.”

Flavor Of Love ran for three seasons on VH1, first premiering on Jan. 1, 2006. It centered around the Public Enemy hype man in his quest for love following his breakup with Surreal Life co-star Brigitte Nielsen. Pollard appeared on the first two seasons and left heartbroken in both instances. She later returned to reality TV with her own spinoff, I Love New York— which aired for two seasons.
