It was about time for Flavor Flav to reconnect with one of his Flavor of Love exes.

The rapper–turned–reality star, 64, saw the season 1 winner of his namesake dating series on Wednesday. Hoopz shared a photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) showing the pair at the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, calling it a “beautiful unexpected moment.”

The duo shared a meaningful hug while Alexander, 40, admitted it was “super crazy” they just happened to cross paths.

Season 1 of the reality show aired on VH1 in 2006 and saw 20 women compete for Flavor Flav’s heart. As one of two finalists, Hoopz was taken out of Flavor Flav’s mansion on a tropical getaway to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where he chose to pursue a relationship with her over Tiffany "New York" Pollard.

The couple dated briefly following the show but confirmed they’d split on the show’s reunion episode, and Flav went on to try to find "love" again for two more seasons. (Pollard, 41, returned for season 2 before spinning off her own dating series called I Love New York.)

Alexander spoke to VH1 about her love story with the musician — and confirmed it was real love. “No lies, it really was,” she said in 2016 when the network reminded her “you don’t have a non-disclosure agreement anymore.”

She explained, “I was impressed by the person he was. I am just telling you that it truly was [a relationship]. I still love him. I’m for real.”

She even noted that she “went to London with him and watched him perform and [we] are very close. He and I are super cool friends and all that you saw was really real. I saw him not too long ago in L.A. and just gave him a hug and I told him thank you. I will always have respect for Flav, he changed my life.”

After appearing on the reality dating show, Alexander had a short-lived reality show on Oxygen called It Takes a Sister, which followed the day-to-day drama with her four sisters.

She was also supposed to square up against Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham during a celebrity boxing match in 2019, but Abraham ghosted the competition.
