The Flash is just a few months away from its theatrical release. Set to hit the big screen on June 16, 2023, the film will be led by controversial actor, Ezra Miller. Ahead of a new trailer which is set to debut at the Super Bowl this weekend, Warner Bros. Pictures have unveiled a poster for the comic book flick, showcasing the Scarlet Speedster inside the recognizable Batcave, with Michael Keaton’s Batwing above him.

The full version of the poster gives a clear look at the Batcave, where Batman gets most of his undercover work done when he’s not taking to the streets to fight against Gotham’s criminals. We see Ezra Miller’s Flash standing within the compound, though he seems to be the only person present.

Exactly which universe this Batcave is a part of hasn’t been confirmed. Some have noted, however, that it bears a striking resemblance to Michael Keaton’s Batcave, from 1989’s Batman, and 1992’s Batman Returns.

Audiences have been aware of Keaton’s involvement as Batman in the new Flash movie, but there haven’t been many details given. It now appears as though he could be playing a bigger part in the film than first expected. Whether Ben Affleck’s Batman will still appear remains to be seen.

Previous teasers have showcased the introduction of a new Batman to the DC Universe, but now that James Gunn and Peter Safran are in charge at DC, the DCU could actually be bringing back a familiar face, rather than adding in a new one.

Christian Bale is among those rumored to be making a comeback, which could set the stage for the proposed movie, The Brave and the Bold, introducing Bruce Wayne’s son, and future Robin, Damian Wayne.
