‘The Flash’ Director Walks, Movie Likely To Be Pushed

It happened on Wonder Woman and now it’s happening on The Flash. After Rick Famuyiwa stepped away from duties on Warner Bros.’ D.C. Comics hopeful $100M tentpole The Flash, word comes that the entire picture will be moved from its start date. A similar thing happened last year when Michelle MacLaren left Wonder Woman over creative differences. The studio then pounced on Patty Jenkins to fulfill their vision of a more character-driven film and less Braveheart. Famuyiwa blamed the film on “creative differences.” Again. Seth Grahame-Smith was originally brought on to director but earlier this year also fell out due to “creative differences.” The film is still to star Ezra Miller.
