The Flaming Lips and Kacey Musgraves Share New Song: Listen

The Flaming Lips have shared a brand new song. It’s called “Flowers of Neptune 6,” and the accompanying music video features frontman Wayne Coyne strolling across a burning prairie in his signature plastic bubble. The song features guest vocals from Kacey Musgraves. Check it out below.

The Flaming Lips released their most recent studio album King’s Mouth in 2019. Earlier this year, they issued the collaborative Deap Lips LP with the band Deap Vally. The band also covered the George Jones classic “He Stopped Loving Her Today” for Clark Duke’s directorial debut Arkansas. Last year, Coyne and his wife Katy celebrated the birth of their first child, a boy named Bloom.
