As of December 2023, Flames doesn’t seem to have been greenlit for season 5. In an interview with Film Companion in December 2023, Divyanshu Malhotra, the director of seasons 3 and 4, referred to the latter as the latest season, indicating that the story isn’t finished yet. The fourth season follows the characters in their final year of school as they face new challenges and make decisions that will have long-term impacts on their lives. Season 5 can potentially explore their lives as college students and depict how Rajjo and Ishita maintain their relationship.
