Dec. 14—Looking for something fun to do with your family this weekend? Check out these activities around the Valley:

1. Be transported to an old-world holiday tradition with the Mifflinburg Christkindl Market today from 4:30 to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Market and Fifth streets. The market kicks off with The Christmas Angel, St. Nicholas and the Mifflinburg Area High School Renaissance Band leading the parade at 5 p.m. Activities, music and more continue through Saturday. 2. Beavertown Gods Missionary Church celebrates the season with a Live Nativity at Middlecreek Farms, 134 Farmhaus Road, Middleburg, today and Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. More than 80 volunteers will tell the Christmas Story in an interactive format featuring 10 scenes. There is no admission but donations are welcome. 3. Hawkins Chevrolet, 1856 Montour Blvd., Danville, is holding a Christmas Party from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday. There will be crafts, games, food vendors and live reindeer, in addition to photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Additional details can be found at Hawkin Chevrolet's Facebook page.

4. Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority is holding its Cookies, Cocoa and Community event on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the BVRA Nature Studio, 205 St. Lawrence St., Lewisburg. 5. Support the Midd-West Theatre Department Sunday by heading out to a free matinee of "Elf" at 2 p.m. at the high school, 540 E. Main St., Middleburg. There will be hot cocoa, cookie decorating, a family photo opportunity and a station where children can write letters to Santa. Admission is free.
