The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and Shreveport Opera celebrate 75, the Red River Revel kicks off 47, the number of bourbons to be sampled is 5, and you can go retro or out to sea, or both. Chase Boytim and Bob Thames will lead a blind taste testing of bourbons curated especially for this event and discussion afterwards. Not into bourbon? There will be other items for you! For 47 years, the art, music, and food festival has been our welcome to fall, and this year is even more expansive.  Come look at the works of the 100 artists exhibiting, listen to the amazing bands that are part of a huge musical lineup, eat and play and enjoy all the extra activities for children and adults alike.
