Fishing fun in the sun

ODEN — The Oden State Fish Hatchery hosted an open house on Thursday, Aug. 3 for families and visitors to enjoy.

Under sunny skies, children enjoyed a variety of games, activities and educational displays about local fish species, the hatchery’s work and conservation efforts in the region.

Visitors also walked around the hatchery’s grounds, which includes a visitor’s center, fish ponds, walking trails and more.
