Fish fries 2024: Where to find fish fries in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties

The Lenten season is upon us, which means churches all around the Pensacola area will be serving up delicious, battered fish.

This year Ash Wednesday fell on Feb. 14 and the Lent season will continue through March 28.

Catholics are encouraged to abstain from meat on Fridays during the 40-day season of Lent, as they prepare for Jesus’ death and resurrection at Easter.

However, you don’t have to be Catholic to indulge in fresh seafood, and we have the guide on where to find it in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties this season.

If you would like to see your church added to the list, BMisencik@pnj.com with the information as formatted below and we'll update the list.
