Here Are the First Week Projections for YoungBoy Never Broke Again's 'Sincerely, Kentrell'

The numbers are looking good for YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

According to Hits Daily Double, the Baton Rouge rapper is on track to earn another No. 1 with Sincerely, Kentrell, his much-anticipated studio album that arrived on Friday. First week projections put the release among some of the most impressive debuts of the year, and potentially the biggest of YoungBoy’s career.

Sincerely, Kentrell is expected to move 135,000 to 155,000 equivalent album units in its first week. The prolific rapper’s previous album, September 2020’s Top, also launched in the top spot with 126K units. His October 2019 mixtape AI YoungBoy 2 and April 2020 tape 38 Baby 2 also landed at No. 1 in their first weeks, garnering 110K and 67K units, respectively. Between those two was February ’20’s Still Flexin, Still Steppin, which started at No. 2 with 91K.

As pointed out by HDD, the new projections could dethrone Drake’s record-breaking Certified Lover Boy, which has remained at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since its release earlier this month.

Despite his incarceration, YoungBoy is still making big moves. Earlier this month, it was announced the that the 21-year-old rapper had entered a global joint venture with Motown Records. The first project under the deal will be Never Broke Again Volume 1, a compilation album of unreleased tracks from YoungBoy and the Never Broke Again Entertainment roster.

The record, which is set to drop next month, will include contributions from Quando Rondo, No Cap, P Yungin, and Meechy Baby.
