First Wedding Rings And Now Pregnancy Rumors?! What's Going On With Nicki Minaj?
Nicki Minaj freaked out fans because she tweeted and deleted a curious comment. "Expecting a," was all the star's tweet read but the statement was short-lived. She then quickly tweeted, "My bad y'all," but you cannot put the genie back in the bottle.
Many fans assumed she was talking about being pregnant and that was how she was telling the world but there was another faction of fans who thought she was just teasing a new album. In the end, it was all just a tease for her next episode of "Queen Radio," referring to her Apple Radio show. She tweeted, "expecting an official date/time for #QueenRadio in the morning."

He Secured The Bag
Minaj married boyfriend Kenneth Petty on Monday, Oct. 21 after getting their marriage license in June. She shared a video on Instagram that same day that featured had Mr. and Mrs. coffee mugs and a white hat with the word "Bride" emblazoned on the front. "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19," Nicki wrote in the comment of her post.
Nicki and Petty have been going crazy with their Halloween costumes on social media recently. On Monday, Minaj shared several photos of the couple dressed up as the Joker and Harly Quinn. "And it's tighter than a choker, got him smilin like the Joker," Nicki wrote referring to her form-fitting costume.
Costume Change
The duo kept the costumes coming and shared their second couples costume to Instagram yesterday. This time she was dressed up as the Bride of Chucky and Petty was the scary doll. Nicki wore a tight corset, a frilly wedding dress, and a tight leather jacket.
In one of the pictures, Petty is down on one knee offering Minaj a wedding ring but the ring is already on a fake severed finger. The rings cause their own Nicki controversy. The rapper did not reveal if the rings were just for the costumes or if they are their actual wedding rings.
Bling Bling
After the costume reveal, the jeweler showed off the rings on his Instagram and said, “Congrats to the King and Queen, We wish you both lots of love and happiness together. Thank you for trusting us with designing and making these very special pieces for you both. @nickiminaj.” The jeweler's post makes it pretty clear the ice is the real deal.
There are reports that the rings were commissioned by the couple and the jeweler worked with them on the design for several months. Nicki's ring features a massive 17-carat center with really clear diamonds. Entertainment Tonight reported that the rings are estimated to cost around $1.1 million and Petty's band is worth $50,000 to $60,000.
Nicki shared a funny video where Petty jokingly said, "You know I just cut somebody's mother f**king finger off for that ring." Nicki nailed her impression of the original Bride of Chucky, Jennifer Tilly and said, "you mean I didn't buy this ring?"
In all honesty, the rings were probably gifted to the couple in exchange for the promotion of the jeweler but it is unclear who footed fingered the bill (Sorry for the bad pun).
They do make a cute couple.
