Jamie Dornan and Wonder Woman 1984's Kristen Wiig star in the first trailer for new comedy Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.

Written by Bridesmaids creators Wiig and Annie Mumolo, the movie sees the titular best friends leave their small Midwestern town for the first time ever for a holiday in Vista Del Mar, Florida.

Shortly after they arrive though, the naive pair find themselves "tangled up in adventure, love, and a villain's evil plot to kill everyone in town".

Josh Greenbaum (New Girl, Fresh Off the Boat) directs, as American Crime Story's Kwame Patterson, Reyn Doi (Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet), Saturday Night Live's Vanessa Bayer, Gilmore Girls' Rose Abdoo, The Office's Phyllis Smith and White Chicks' Damon Wayans Jr appear alongside the actors already mentioned.

It's also somewhat of an on-screen Bridesmaids reunion. Wiig and Mumolo – who famously wrote the acclaimed, aforementioned outing – will also be seen acting alongside former co-stars Michael Hitchcock and Wendi McLendon-Covey, too.

While he's set to find his flair for all-things funny in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, Dornan can currently be seen winning hearts in romance-drama Wild Mountain Thyme opposite Christopher Walken, Emily Blunt and, funnily enough, Bridesmaids' Jon Hamm.

Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is set to be available to stream via PVOD services in the US on February 12. Its UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
