First trailer for Hugh Jackman's new movie from Westworld co-creator

Hugh Jackman is releasing a new project this summer, and the first trailer for Reminiscence has just been released.

Reminiscence comes from the co-creator of Westworld, Lisa Joy, who has written and directed the new movie.

Jackman posted the trailer on his Instagram page, captioning the video with a teaser: "You're going on a journey. In theaters and streaming on @hbomax on August 20th."

A new poster was also released, showing a colourful edit of Jackman and other cast members, with the ominous words "don't look back" featured on it.

Starring alongside Jackman in this action thriller are Rebecca Ferguson, Thandiwe Newton, Cliff Curtis, Marina de Tavira, Daniel Wu, Mojean Aria, Brett Cullen, Natalie Martinez and Angela Sarafyan.

Reminiscence is centred around the life and work of Nick Bannister (Jackman), who works as a private investigator of the mind, focusing on the past to help people uncover their lost memories.

Nick lives on the Miami coast and his life changes drastically after taking on a specific client named Mae (Ferguson) – when Mae goes missing, Nick uncovers a dangerous conspiracy.

Reminiscence is one of the movies that will get a cinematic release and will be available to watch across the UK from August 20.

Elsewhere in the US, Reminiscence will be available to watch on the same date, however, US viewers will have additional viewing flexibility as the movie will be available both in theatres or to stream via HBO Max.
