First Look: ‘The Goldbergs’ Join ‘The Breakfast Club’ in New Music Video
They’ve done Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Dirty Dancing, and this season The Goldbergs will pay tribute another beloved ’80s movie: The Breakfast Club. In the Season 4 premiere, Barry (Troy Gentile), Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) will mess with the bull and get the horns — in the form of Saturday morning detention.
As always, The Goldbergs team is fully committing to their homage — right down to shooting a new video for The Breakfast Club‘s anthem, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds. Watch Orrantia perform her take on the song, complete with tiny TVs and a troublesome, low-hanging chandelier. (You can watch the original video below for comparison.)
Season 4 of The Goldbergs premieres Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC
