Netflix movie The School for Good and Evil has treated fans to a couple of first-look snaps.

Uploaded to Twitter yesterday (May 18), we're introduced to Charlize Theron's redhead Lady Lesso and Kerry Washington's sparkling Professor Dovey.

"Take a peek behind the scenes of THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL, a new Netflix original fantasy film based on the bestselling book series by Soman Chainani," teased the caption.

Hundreds of Twitter users swarmed the post, with one writing: "Definitely looks like a good movie for sure. I hope there is a part two to this which I think will happen."

"This is why we need Netflix movies in theaters," suggested another, before a third fan replied: "You better do all the 3 main books! Want to see them in all 3 movies! Aaah so excited!!!!"

Directed by Ghostbusters' Paul Feig, The School for Good and Evil also boasts the talents of Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix) and Michelle Yeoh (Gunpowder Milkshake).

The story tracks best mates Sophie and Agatha as they enrol in the School for Good and Evil, where normal girls and boys are trained to become fairytale heroes and villains.

In a classic reversal twist, Sophie's princess ambitions are destroyed when she's dropped into the School for Evil, while Agatha (a surefire witch) enters the School for Good.

Expect The School for Good and Evil to arrive on Netflix in 2022.
