First Look at Vin Diesel in 'Fast & Furious' Thrill Ride Peek: 'You Ready, Kid?'

As Torreto would say, “Ride or die.”

Designed to exceed that feeling you get after chugging three Red Bulls while watching Fast & Furious in 3D, the blockbuster franchise has spawned a white-knuckle thrill ride opening June 25 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

In 3D-HD, “Fast & Furious — Supercharged” will be the finale of the studio’s signature tram tour. Here is exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the new ride with such Fast regulars as Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez offer a peek at what’s in store.

The hydraulic motion-based ride tells an original Fast & Furious story, utilizing special effects with a high-tech 3D audio system and 3D-HD imagery. The video is projected onto the world’s longest, most expansive 360-degree screen, spanning nearly 400 feet, inside a new 65,000-square-foot structure on the studio’s backlot. The massive screen makes use of 34, 4K projectors and a specially configured projection system aimed at immersing the senses.

You better be ready, kids.
