First Family Gets ‘Empire’ Makeover In ‘SNL’ Skit Asking ‘What If Donald Trump Was Black?’
With Empire on winter hiatus, Saturday Night Live filled the void with Them Trumps, a new drama “from the producers of Empire.”
Answering the question, “What if Donald Trump was black?”, it envisions the Trumps as White House versions of the Lyons: President Darius Trump (Kenan Thompson), First Lady Malika Trump (Leslie Jones in her best Cookie impersonation), their son Darius Trump Jr. (Chris Redd) and First Daughter L’evnka Trump (Ego Nwodim).
