Firefighters from Georgia helped distribute aid in Houma, Louisiana, as the state continued its recovery following Hurricane Ida’s devastating landfall last week.
This footage by Shane Shifflett, a volunteer firefighter and fire photographer, offers a glimpse into the realities faced by many in Houma, with numerous homes shown to be severely damaged or destroyed, and debris strewn across lawns.
