The men of Logo’s Fire Island are more than just robots designed to travel back-and-forth between the gym and the beach. They’re also humans. With emotions. And, as revealed in TVLine’s exclusive clip from this week’s episode, backstories!
Tonight’s installment (8/7c) finds the guys gathering in the kitchen to share their coming out stories, and it quickly becomes a competition to see who had it the hardest growing up.
“I went to NYU and I never had sex with anyone,” reveals Justin Russo — not to be confused with the Wizards of Waverly Place character of the same name — thinking he’s got this competition in the bag. “I came out at, like, 23/24.”
That’s when Jorge Bustillos chimes in: “I grew up in a third-world country in which being gay was a big mistake. And then, of course, I had to fake it all the time. I had to be with girls I thought I liked, but I didn’t. … It wasn’t easy at all.”
And then someone drops… the M-Bomb. Hit PLAY on the clip below to find out what I’m talking about, then drop a comment with your thoughts on Fire Island.
