Fire Country is officially ready to set viewers' TV screens ablaze, and fans have thoughts about what's to come thanks to a surprise first look at the season finale on social media.

Ahead of the CBS drama airing the final episode of season 2 on May 17, folks got a sneak peek at what could be the culmination of a season-long storyline. In a series of photos uploaded on Instagram on May 15, fans witness Gabriela Perez (Stephanie Arcila) standing at the altar, her fiancé Diego Moreno (Rafael de la Fuente) getting ready before the ceremony and Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) wearing a construction vest in front of what appeared to be a potentially dangerous scenario. What's more, the show's social team teased that the last episode will offer a roller coaster ride of drama.

"Here comes the … DRAMA 👰♀️," read the caption. "Your emotions are about to go on a wild ride THIS Friday for the Season Finale of Fire Country 🔥🫢 9/8c on @cbstv!"

When fans saw the trio of images pop up online, they immediately focused on Gabriela and why she looked nervous at her wedding. This led many to voice how they hope her story will unfold, featuring none other than her ex-boyfriend Bode.

"Season ends with Bodie saying he objects to them getting married," one person speculated in the comments. "Diego must know that she still loves Bode. Maybe he will say 'no' at the alter when he sees how she looks at Bodie. 🤞 Cannot wait for Friday! 🔥," another theorized. "I do want Bode and Gabriela to get back together," a different follower added.

As fans remember, Bode and Gabriela got together toward the end of Fire Country season 1, with them splitting up when Bode falsely went to prison and stopped talking to her. We've seen them hash out their feelings about their families and even kiss ahead of Gabriela's wedding, making it clear the two's love story isn't quite as over as Gabriela would want.

Well, if this is what's to come, we definitely need to watch to see what could be down the line for season 3!
