'Dancing with the Stars' Battle for Final Three Spots

On Monday's Dancing with the Stars, the remaining contestants danced freestyle routines to compete for the final three slots this season. Laurie Hernandez danced a piece set in a playground to help showcase her youthful spirit. She mentioned that she got similar nerves going into this episode that she got when competing in the Rio Olympics. Former NFL receiver, Calvin Johnson, Jr., danced a playful routine that included opposing treadmills. The highlight of his routine was Johnson tossing his dance partner Lindsay Arnold high above his head. She explained that she wouldn't even let professional dancers lift her like that. It's doubtful anyone else would be able to fling her like the 6'5" football player did. Indycar driver James Hinchcliffe and his dance partner, Sharna Burgess, turned his near fatal wreck into a beautiful, artistic routine that had judge Carrie Ann Inaba amazed. She said, "In 23 seasons, I have never, ever seen a more intelligent, artistic, passionate, creative, and well-danced freestyle. That had everything and more. You are the miracle man of Season 23." Sadly, Jana Kramer was eliminated from the competition.
