Stay as far away from that truck as possible!

Put him on the naughty list! Final Destination star Devon Sawa is poking fun at the series’ infamous log death scene in his latest holiday-themed Instagram post.

On Friday, the actor, who played Alex Browning in the original 2000 horror film, not-so-innocently shared a snapshot of an open-bed truck on the road that was transporting a collection of Christmas trees stacked on top of each other.

“Driving behind this log truck carrying Christmas trees and thought I’d wish you all a Happy Holidays!” he captioned the image.

At first glance, Sawa’s post may seem like a well-meaning yuletide message. But anyone who's been forever scarred by the franchise will immediately catch his nod to Final Destination 2’s terrifyingly gruesome opening sequence, in which its entire cast is brutally killed in a deadly multi-car logging accident. (You can watch it here if you're feeling brave enough.)

While all of the deaths in the scene are gloriously grisly, it's Officer Thomas Burke’s (Michael Landes) demise that has had a lasting impact on drivers. The deputy is the first to go when a log rolls off a truck and careens through his windshield, instantly pulverizing him.

FD fans quickly flooded the comments section of Sawa's post to share how the moment still continues to haunt them whenever they're on the road.

“You single-handedly traumatized an entire generation with some logs,” one wrote. A second added, “Still to this day I will not drive behind a log truck. IYKYK.”

Noting that Sawa, who did not star in the sequel, was honoring the universal rules set forth by Final Destination, another fan wrote, “I notice you're not driving behind it.”

A fourth chimed in, “Better stay in that other lane!”
