Filmmaker, diver team up to clean up microplastic in Lake Tahoe
In an effort to keep Lake Tahoe blue, a filmmaker and professional diver have teamed up to clean up microplastics that were detected in the lake. The duo will be documenting their work as they attempt a 72-mile underwater scuba diving mission where they plan to clean up the lake along the way. The cleanup kicks off Saturday, and the pair says volunteers are still needed to help pinpoint areas that need extra attention. Get more information in the video above.
