Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra was recently spotted at the Marflix Office. This visit sparked widespread speculation about a potential collaboration with acclaimed director Siddharth Anand. The excitement among fans reached a fever pitch as reports emerged, suggesting that the duo is set to join forces for an adrenaline-pumping action film. Malhotra will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Yodha which will release in March, 2024.
The yet untitled action extravaganza is set to mark the directorial debut of Rohan Khambati. Rohan is a seasoned professional who has contributed significantly to the success of several Hindi Cinema blockbusters. He served as the action designer on films like Jawan and Pathaan. Additionally, he also worked as the assistant director on projects such as Dhoom 3 and Anjana Anjani. Rohan Khambati brings a wealth of experience to the table. A reliable source stated, “Having worked with Sid before, Rohan has got the perfect producer in Marflix to support his vision.”
The project is currently in the nascent stages. However, the trio of the two Sid’s and Rohan is actively working to align their creative visions. “If everything goes as planned, the yet untitled action thriller will take off by the end of next year,” the source concluded. This revelation left fans eagerly anticipating a cinematic spectacle.

An insider revealed, “Sidharth Malhotra wants to do more films in the action space, and who better than Siddharth Anand to bring the genre to the big screen. Their conversations are moving in the right direction; however, things have yet to find a place on paper. It’s a film that will be produced by Marflix, with the banner’s mission being to create some of the biggest action thrillers in India.”
Both the Sidharths and producer Mamta Anand have engaged in crucial meetings. These meetings were specifically to lay the foundation for a high-stakes action thriller. The actor’s desire to involve more in action genre aligns seamlessly with the director’s proven prowess in making fantastic action movies.
In the meantime, Sidharth Malhotra is expected to wrap up shooting for two upcoming films. His 2024 lineup includes the Maddock production Spider, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. It will be followed by a real-life story with director Meghna Gulzar for Junglee Pictures.
Marflix is gearing up for the release of Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in January. They plan to commence production on the Rohit Dhawan-starrer Rambo shortly thereafter. The production house seems poised to maintain its reputation for delivering high-octane entertainment. This sets the stage for yet another blockbuster collaboration between Siddharth Anand and Sidharth Malhotra.
