'Fifty Shades of Black' Trailer Spoofs You-Know-What

Fifty Shades of Grey has achieved a Hollywood-blockbuster rite of passage: its very own parody film. We present the first trailer for Fifty Shades of Black.

Yahoo Movies spoke with lead sadist actor Marlon Wayans, also a co-writer, who said he cranked out the script for his comedy within two months of the sexed-up film’s realease. “They kept the Fifty Shades script so under wraps that I really couldn’t finish my script until the first movie came out,” said Wayans, adding that Fifty Shades of Grey lends itself to a comedic treatment due to its slow pacing and dark characters.

Watching the trailer, it quickly becomes clear Fifty Shades of Grey isn’t the only cultural phenomenon targeted by Wayans. There’s a Magic Mike spoof scene as well as sequence that pays homage to Kim Kardashian’s famous Paper magazine cover that broke the Internet.

Wayans says filmmakers went to town on the set pieces — especially all the erotic gear in Christian Grey’s famed red room. "I was hitting [actress] Kali Hawk with all different kinds of things. I was literally sweating.“ At one point, things got out of control, albeit accidentally, as Wayans missed a piece of protective gear on the actress’s rear end. "I had to aim for that thing and I missed. She yelped. It hurt!”

The actor, also known for his role in the Scary Movie parody films, revealed he recently had a chance run-in with famed Fifty Shades author E.L. James at Hollywood’s famous Chateau Marmont. “We became friendly,” he said of their chat in which he conceded his film will be “taking the piss out of” her work. “There’s probably going to be one joke you won’t like,” he told her of a scene involving her specifically. “She was a sport. She is a sweetheart,” he said.

When it comes to comparing the parody film to the original with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, Wayans says his film is steamier. “But their version is more naked,” he pointed out. Wayans admits to being unimpressed by the level of kink in the original. “You know what, I do that stuff. And I don’t have a helicopter! I wanted to learn something [but realized] I need to teach Christian Grey some stuff!”
