Fifth Harmony members celebrate 10-year anniversary with nostalgic tributes: 'To the history made'

It's been a decade since X-Factor showcased the formation of one of modern pop's most iconic female singing groups: Fifth Harmony.

The five former members, who were behind hits like "Worth It" and "Work From Home," have each embarked on solo careers after going their separate ways in 2018 after six years together. 

Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui took to social media to honor their 10-year anniversary.

Before announcing their hiatus, Fifth Harmony released three studio albums and had eight singles appear on the Billboard Hot 100. Their hit "Work From Home," featuring Ty Dolla $ign, peaked at No. 4 on the list during summer 2016.

Camila Cabello

Cabello posted a photo Thursday of the group on "The X Factor"  in 2012 acknowledging the group hardly knew each other back then and how unaware they were of "the journey we were about to go on."

"I wanna remember the laughs and inside jokes and the pinch me I’m dreaming moments," the "Havana" singer wrote. "much love and happiness to these ladies @fifthharmony and thx to the fans who had fun with us along the way."

She also poked fun at herself during her Fifth Harmony days: "pls let’s all forget the times when I would do my own eyeliner thx."

Since the group's split, Cabello has released two studio albums: "Familia" in April and her debut "Camila" in 2018."

Lauren Jauregui

Jauregui, who performed her solo music at the historic Radio City Music Hall venue Wednesday night, reflected on Twitter that opportunities like that wouldn't be possible had it not been for the group.

"The gratitude that I have for each one of these women and the experience of being part of something so special sticks with me to this day," Jauregui said. "I feel so blessed to do what I love and I’m so ready for everything to come. Thank you to the #Harmonizers for staying down for us after all these years."

She continued: "You all are magic. Thank you for making our dreams come true together and now individually."

Normani Hamilton

Normani, who was nominated for three MTV Video Music Awards Tuesday for her song "West Side" featuring Cardi B, tweeted she was "forever grateful" for Fifth Harmony.

Her song with Sam Smith, "Dancing with a Stranger," has over a billion streams on Spotify and was featured in Smith's 2020 album "Love Goes."

Dinah Jane

Jane shared a performance of the group's "Work From Home" on Twitter and expressed her admiration for her former groupmates. 

"Ahhh how time fliess aha happy 10yrs mijitasss 🤧 love y’all always," Jane wrote.

In 2020, Jane released three singles titled "Missed a Spot," "1501" and "Lottery."

Ally Brooke

Brooke shared on social media how proud and grateful she was for the other members.

"To the people I met. To the history made. To my life changing," Brooke said. "I’m proud of my part and beyond grateful. 7/27."

She released two singles earlier this year titled, "Tequila" and "Por Ti."
