ZACH SCHWARTZ: Oh, no. I got a friend texting. He's saying pass the sticks.
[LAUGHTER]
How's it going, guys? My name's Zach Schwartz. I had the great privilege of playing Chad Ochocinco today in FIFA. I know he's very, very good at this game.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Well, I appreciate it. We're all in quarantine right now. So what better way to spend our time than playing FIFA?
ZACH SCHWARTZ: How did you come to pick Napoli as your team? How did that--
CHAD OCHOCINCO: You know what? I've been a fan of Napoli, man, since Maradona days. Thank you.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Oh, it is.
[WHISTLE]
CHAD OCHOCINCO: It's about time.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: 13 minutes, and he's--
CHAD OCHOCINCO: That's like four shots inside the 18. What am I doing?
ZACH SCHWARTZ: I watched the reality, the dating show.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Yeah. Oh, speaking of dating, that's such a hard part of my life.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: I think they're having-- they're encouraging people to do-- what we call it? Zoom dates, FaceTime dates.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Zoom dates?
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Yeah, yeah, on camera and stuff like that. I don't know how you're supposed to date right now. And you can't say, hey, let's go to a show, or a bar.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: All dates can be done via FaceTime.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Yeah. It just seems so tough, especially first time meeting someone. Oh.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Wow, thank you, ref.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: What are we doing? Get in here.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go.
[WHISTLE]
Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Oh, this could get so ugly. It's interesting that Dana is saying that Khabib fight. I don't know where they're going to have it yet. But it's going to go on. And the thought of that getting potentially canceled again breaks my heart.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Oh, my god.
[WHISTLE]
Oh, no. I got a friend texting me. He's saying pass the sticks.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go. Let's go.
[WHISTLE]
ZACH SCHWARTZ: This is nightmarish. Oh, god.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: No wonder they don't want to watch.
[WHISTLE]
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Luckily, I'm not in the office to hear about this from people. So I went to Arizona State.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: My son is one Arizona State.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Your son is going there. He's been one of our bigger recruits we've landed. Is he excited?
CHAD OCHOCINCO: He's pretty calm about it. Obviously, he knows Coach Lewis. Obviously, he knows Marvin. Marvin's there. He'll be good. I'm going to make sure. I'm going to make sure he's ready though. Gotta make sure you're prepared. I graduated late from high school. Went to an NAIA school, Langston University in Oklahoma, got thrown out, then came back to Miami. My grandma was like this.
And I've done all I can with you. Let your momma take over now. And that's how I ended up at Santa Monica in LA. And it took me three years to get out of a two-year institution because, obviously, grades. That's why I always had a one for one at Oregon State.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: Oh, I remember that.
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Yeah, Coach Erickson gave me a full ride, even though I was a one for one. And I didn't look back since. I needed the stage. That's it. It didn't matter where I played at. I just needed the stage. Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: What are you doing?
[WHISTLE]
CHAD OCHOCINCO: Let's go.
ZACH SCHWARTZ: I asked for this too. They said, oh, who can play FIFA against Chad. And I was like, I think I can. I can't. Thank god that didn't get to-- I thank you for not putting that to 10. Because I think you had an opportunity. You gave me other chances. EA Sports right now has a EA stay and play initiative. In a time like this, it's been incredible to see what an amazing force the gaming community can be.
EA's is organized charity tournaments. We have been encouraged to connect with each other online as we all stay at home at a time like this. In an effort to bring these amazing stories to life, it's launched to Stay in Play.
