Fiesta Bowl Parade 2023 in Phoenix: Here's the start time, route and streets to avoid

The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe has been a local favorite event since the early 1970s. This year is the 51st edition and the theme is "Spirit of Competition." The parade will roll through the streets of central Phoenix on Saturday, Dec. 16.

In spirit of the theme, the 2023 Fiesta Bowl Parade grand marshals are Jake Plummer, former Arizona State University and NFL quarterback, and Richard Jefferson, former Moon Valley High School, University of Arizona and NBA standout.

But they won't be the only ones making their way along the parade route, waving to thousand of spectators.

You won't want to miss out on the marching bands, big balloons, entertainers and more in the runup to the Fiesta Bowl game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on New Year's Day.
