Wisconsin sports power couples, represent!

Our state has more than its fair share of athlete pairs, from a Milwaukee Bucks superstar and his humanitarian honey (a former college volleyballer) to the Green Bay Packers quarterback whose name is Love and whose girlfriend happens to be a pro volleyball player with the San Diego Mojo

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, here's a look at just a few of the many couples we love to love here in the cheesiest state of all.

They're basically Wisconsin's version of the royal couple. They even have a wedding coming up.

Antetokounmpo, in his 11th NBA season, is the franchise's all-time leader in points, rebounds, assists and blocks.

He'll start in the NBA All-Star Game for the eighth consecutive season later this month. As the fan's top vote-getter, he'll also be the Eastern Conference captain.

Antetokounmpo's business portfolio is packed with national brand deals, ownership stakes and numerous other ventures.

Together, the couple is huge on helping those in need, especially local families.

Riddlesprigger is heavily involved with the Milwaukee Diaper Mission and is on its board of directors.

The couple does an annual diaper drive to support MDM. This year's BIG Give Back — put on by the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation — raised $188,000 and collected 10,000 diapers.

The culmination was an MDM drive-up distribution event, where the couple and their two sons — Liam and Maverick — pitched in. The couple also have a baby girl, Eva Brooke.

Oh, and Antetokounmpo isn't the only athlete in that household. Riddlesprigger played volleyball at Rice University and remains into fitness.

Jordan Love and Ronika Stone

He is Love. So, of course, the Packers breakout star needed to be on this list.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love's girlfriend Ronika Stone — an athlete in her own right — is always supporting her QB beau by being at his games and showing him some love on social media.

Following the Packers' win over the Minnesota Vikings on New Year's Eve, Stone posted a TikTok that started with a selfie with the phrase: "Me without a dog." Then, it switched to an adorable photo of her with Love that said: "Me with a dawg."

She also has taken to TikTok to defend Love against his haters. Over an old video clip of the couple dancing, she wrote all the phrases so-called experts and keyboard warriors called the quarterback before and during the season. Stone replaced those phrases with the words: "Youngest team in the NFL to make the playoffs."

During the regular season, Love completed 64.2% of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdown passes, 11 interceptions and a 96.1 quarterback rating. His 32 touchdown passes were second most in the NFL.

He owned the Chicago Bears, 17-9, to return the Packers to the playoffs. That was followed up by a 48-32 NFC wild-card victory at AT&T Stadium.

Love was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks this season, something that hadn't been done by a Packer in 27 years. Plus, he earned Nickelodeon's MVP, err "NVP," of Week 18 on "NFL Slimetime."

Stone, 25, a professional volleyball player with the San Diego Mojo, previously played professionally in France.

At the University of Oregon, Stone was an All-American and the highest ranked recruit ever at the college. She left as the program's all-time career leader in hitting percentage and tops in block assists. She also ranked in the top five when she graduated in total blocks and points.

Beside being an NFL GF, she's also an NFL daughter. Her dad Ron played 13 seasons across four teams (Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and the then-Oakland Raiders). She made a funny TikTok about the Pack playing each of those teams this season, too.

Garrett Mitchell and Haley Cruse Mitchell

Quality couple banter? We're here for it.

And, that's exactly what Milwaukee Brewer Garrett Mitchell and his wife, Haley Cruse Mitchell, gave us last season.

After the rookie centerfielder hit three home runs over two games at the beginning of the season, Mitchell's on-field interview took an unexpected — and hilarious — turn.

“I was thinking about this, but when my wife doesn’t show up to the games usually something good happens," he said. "Going into that at-bat, I was like man, she’s not here so might as well do something fun."

Haley dished it right back to her hubby. She quote tweeted the interview clip with the caption: "You won’t say it to my face tho." Then, she had some fun in the replies: "He did not stutter. Meanwhile I missed the game because I was busy STOCKING HIS FRIDGE."

In another interview, when Mitchell expressed that he was looking forward to getting home to his wife and for the upcoming off day, Haley replied to it with, "Trying not to sleep on the couch."

Unfortunately, Mitchell suffered a shoulder injury soon after, had to have surgery and ended up missing most of the Brew Crew's 2023 season. Though, he did make it back with just four games remaining before the playoffs.

Haley is a Marucci Athlete and former professional softball player who starred at Oregon. The outfielder led Oregon in hitting for four straight seasons and finished on the school's all-time leaderboard in several categories.

Haley was first-team All-Pac 12 as a senior at Oregon and signed with the USSSA Pride professional softball team based in Florida.

Haley is a longtime social-media star, with more than 838,600 followers on TikTok, nearly 114,000 on Twitter and 205,000 on Instagram. She regularly shares real cute posts of her, her man and their dachshund doggo.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Who had Simone Biles becoming a Wisconsin girly on their bingo card? Same. And we're still not over it.

Biles tied the knot with footballer Jonathan Owens last spring. They had a civil ceremony at Houston's Harris County Courthouse, then a destination wedding in Cabo.

With the safety becoming a Packer ahead of last season, it was a package deal.

Not only is Biles a four-time Olympic champion and Athleta partner, she's also such a supportive queen.

She showed up and showed out to game days — both home and away. And, repped her hubby through her game-day garb.

Owens, who started in 11 games and stayed healthy for all 17, is now a free agent.

Pat Connaughton and Ryan Gareis

He plays for the Bucks and she plays for the Houston Dash.

We're talking about Milwaukee's modern day renaissance man Pat Connaughton and his girlfriend, professional soccer player Ryan Gareis.

The couple hard-launched their relationship on social media in June 2023. At the beginning of the new year, they announced that they're expecting.

"Life is so good.. adding a mini 24 this ‘24," Gareis captioned the Instagram announcement. "Life. Is. Good." Connaughton commented.

The pair have shared several sweet moments on social media since making their relationship public, from birthday posts to vacations.

One of Gareis' latest shows her on the soccer field in her cleats with the caption: "Soccer mom era :)"

JJ Watt and Kealia Ohai Watt

From one star soccer mom to another.

Professional soccer player Kealia Ohai Watt and three-time NFL defensive player of the year JJ Watt, a Pewaukee native, tied the knot in 2020 in a ceremony in the Bahamas. The two met in Houston and began dating in late 2016 and early 2017.

In 2022, they welcomed their first child, son Koa James Watt.

Watt, who played college football at the University of Wisconsin — spent a decade with the Houston Texans, then signed with the Cardinals before the 2021 season. He retired at the end of the 2022 season.

During his career, he posted four seasons of 16 sacks or more, including two with 20½, and appeared in nine playoff games. His accolades include being named the Walter Payton Man of the Year and Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year, both in 2017.

Kealia Ohai Watt spent six years with the Houston Dash, then joined the Chicago RedStars of the National Women's Soccer League in 2020. In a 2023 People exclusive, JJ shared that his wife had also retired.

Last year, the couple invested together in Burnley FC, an English soccer team that had just earned promotion to the English Premier League.

Bonnie Blair-Cruikshank and Dave Cruikshank

Alexa, play "Ice Ice Baby."

Why? Because a pair of Olympic speedskaters make up our next power couple.

We're talking about husband and wife Dave Cruikshank and Bonnie Blair-Cruikshank.

Blair, who trained in Milwaukee, is the most decorated woman in U.S. Winter Olympics history with five gold medals and one bronze. She qualified for the ’84 Games in Sarajevo. Then she earned a gold and a bronze in ’88 in Calgary, won both the 500 and 1,000 in ’92 in Albertville and repeated both in ’94 in Lillehammer.

Dave Cruikshank is a four-time U.S. Olympic speedskater, the founder/owner of DC Hybrid Skating and an NHL skating coach.

Five-time Olympic gold medalist Bonnie Blair skates with her husband, Dave Cruikshank and son, Grant B. Cruikshank, 1, at the Pettit National Ice Center on Feb. 1, 2000. Cruikshank was practicing for the World Speed Skating Championships.

Together, through DASH Speedskating, the pair, their partners and their skaters aim to generate interest in speedskating, cultivate talent, showcase the best athletes and to energize the community to help rebuild their sport from Milwaukee to the Olympics.

The couple has two children: Blair, who's also a speedskater, and Grant, a hockey player.

Sam Dekker and Olivia Harlan Dekker

A beloved basketballer and broadcaster team.

Former University of Wisconsin and Sheboygan Lutheran basketball star Sam Dekker is married to sports broadcaster Olivia Harlan Dekker, daughter of legendary sports broadcaster Kevin Harlan and granddaughter of former Green Bay Packers executive Bob Harlan.

Dekker plays basketball for the London Lions of the British Basketball League. During the 2022-23 season, he led the Lions to the BBL title (both regular season and postseason) and won the league's Player of the Year honor.

Harlan Dekker works for Sky One and Westwood One Radio, covering the NFL and NCAA in a variety of capacities.

Dekker and Harlan Dekker tied the knot in Door County in July 2018. They welcomed a son, Harlan Wolf Dekker, in 2022.

Harlan Dekker just made history with her dad who is approaching 40 seasons as a play-by-play announcer in the NFL. On Sunday, the two became the first father-daughter duo to call a Super Bowl — Harlan Dekker for Sky Sports and Harlan for Westwood One.

In 2018, they became the first father-daughter team to call any NFL game when the Packers hosted the 49ers.

Despite being overseas, Dekker remains very much in tune with Wisconsin sports and shares his takes on social media, where he's amassed quite the following.
