Festival of Trees at Thelma Sadoff offers chance to support Fond du Lac-area nonprofits

FOND DU LAC — Help others this holiday season by attending the fourth annual Festival of Trees.

The public is invited to the gala Dec. 8 or the community day Dec. 9. Bidding is open both days.

Local nonprofit organizations have a tree decorated and on display at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, 51 Sheboygan St. Community members bid on the trees and each nonprofit gets the bid amount.

The gala will run 6-9 p.m. Dec. 8. Holiday music will be performed live by The Swizzle Sticks, and food and refreshments available. Tickets are $20 at hometowntickets.com/events/festival-of-trees-gala or at the door.

Fond du Lac events: Fond du Lac can't-miss events include several chances to visit with Santa this week

The community event is noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 9. Carriage rides, live music, a holiday market, children’s crafts and more bidding on the trees will be included. Santa arrives at 12:45 p.m. and will be available for pictures.

Admission at the door is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children 2 and younger.
