Will Ferrell essentially revisited his Old School character Frank “The Tank” Ricard over the weekend by surprise DJing a frat party held at the University of Southern California ahead of its football game against the University of Arizona.

The actor popped up at a tailgate party held by the Sigma Alpha Mu frat during this year’s family weekend and played a series of hits while dressed for the part in a backward USC cap and shades. Videos have surfaced online in which Ferrell keeps the crowd going with staples like Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N****s in Paris,” Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” and The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside.” At one point, he even breaks out a handheld fog gun. Back in 2003, Ferrell starred in the movie Old School as Frank The Tank, a man in his 30s who starts a frat with his buddies (Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn) to relive their glory days. Even 20 years later, it appears that he still has what it takes to party with college kids.

Ferrell is a USC alum who graduated in 1990 with a degree in sports information before joining the improv group The Groundlings and becoming one of the most memorable Saturday Night Live cast members. However, he was actually a member of the Delta Tau Delta frat while attending the school.

Though Ferrell was likely invited to the party by his son, Magnus, currently a student, he’s also returned to USC to deliver a commencement speech (and receive an honorary doctorate) in 2017.

Earlier this year, Ferrell played the CEO of Mattel in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and voiced a talking dog named Reggie in Strays.
